After serving in the U.S. Army for more than a decade, Mrs. Johnson felt compelled to pursue a career that would allow both herself and others to express themselves and practice self-care. Presently, she works as the co-owner of Face Café Highpoint Glam and Wellness Bar, where she specializes in natural hair care and esthetics. Mrs. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Columbia Southern University and is working towards her Master of Social Work from the University of Greensboro and an A&T joint program. She has also been certified as a life coach, an ordained minister of the gospel and licensed in natural hair care and esthetics.
Throughout the course of her career, Mrs. Johnson is most proud to have overcome numerous hardships. She is married with five minor children. In her current role, she hopes to encourage and uplift others so they may surmount their own challenges as well. For this ethos and her numerous accomplishments in the field, Mrs. Johnson was notably featured in Triad Magazine.
In 2021, Mrs. Johnson's book will be published on her experiences and the adversity she faced while coming of age. She maintains her affiliation with Sigma Alpha Phi, the National Society of Leadership and Success. In accounting for her standout success, she credits her faith and family, who have always supported her endeavors. Looking toward the future, Mrs. Johnson plans to travel and conduct seminars. She would also like to start mentoring others in order to empower future generations.
