ALBUQUERQUE, NM, June 23, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. William McKee Aber has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Driven to pursue a career in service to others, Dr. Aber embarked on a life in the ministry. After completing his undergraduate degree, he received an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Westminster College, as well as a Doctor of Ministry from the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
Following this accomplishment, he began as an executive presbyter for Santa Fe Presbytery, where he has remained for more than a decade. Through the Presbytery, Dr. Aber provides solace as a minister and participates in several programs offered by the church, including the Family-to-Family Fund, which helps families that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Outside of his work in the field, Dr. Aber aligns himself with the local Kiwanis Club and further gives back to those less fortunate through Planned Parenthood, Habitat for Humanity, the YMCA and several youth conference boards in the area. In light of his outstanding work in ministry and in the community, he has been honored several times, earning the Hickson Award through the Kiwanis Club, as well as inclusion into numerous editions of Who's Who in the East.
Though his career has been suffused with highlights, Dr. Aber is most proud to have served as a first lieutenant on active duty with the U.S. Army to first lieutenant on active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps prior to joining the ministry. Additionally, he was the chairperson of financial stewardship for his church, through which he liaised with leadership in order to provide for his flock.
