One Artist's Mission: Help People Connect to their Soul through Nature and Art

Jennifer Laurel Keller's paintings are about the meaning behind the landscape and how it connects to her client's stories. They're more than pretty pictures. They hold the energy of the subject as a symbol of emotion. A redwood, for instance, is about growth and putting down deep roots. A mountain is about legacy, foundation, and vision. The ocean is about tranquility, vastness, and invigoration.

She asks people to think back on their fondest memory spent in nature. She will paint the specific landscape where it happened. It's all about their personal connection to a place. Clients will commission landscapes of where they were married, engaged or where other profound milestones and memories happened.

She works with businesses to convey the emotion that they want to provide for their clients through natural symbolism and color. She has outfitted businesses, such as therapy offices and yoga studios, with calming nature scenes to put their visitors at ease.

Jennifer brings a twist to her landscapes through a saturated color palette and loose brushstrokes. "I paint the feeling of vibrant freedom that nature gives me."

Also an instructor, Keller's students learn to see the world through the eyes of an artist and use creativity to be in the moment. The lessons carry over to their lives both on and off of the canvas.

Jennifer also leads painting retreats, where students slow down and fully immerse themselves in blissful California locations.
