A renowned expert in orthopedic surgery of the knee and traumatology, Dr. Repicci retired from the medical field in 2019 after more than five decades of excellence. He also presented over 120 times on the topic of surgical procedures both locally and abroad between 1987 and 2009. Furthermore, Dr. Repicci lent his expertise as a consultant for Biomet Company and MAKO Surgical Corporation.

A respected voice in the field, Dr. Repicci has contributed several medical books and book chapters, as well as numerous peer reviewed journal articles. His work has been featured by other authors as well, including in the American Journal of Orthopedics and "7 Points on Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty in the Surgery Center Setting" in 2012. Besides writing, Dr. Repicci produced a video, titled "The Repicci II Unicondylar Knee Program," in 1999.

Dr. Repicci received a Doctor of Dental Science in 1960 and a Doctor of Medicine in 1963 at SUNY Buffalo. Additional educational pursuits to his credit include an internship and residency in orthopedics at Buffalo General Hospital and a residency in general surgery and second residency in orthopedics at the Buffalo Veterans Administration. Dr. Repicci was certified by the American Board of Orthopedics in 1971.
