Mr. Giordanella initially obtained a Bachelor of Science from the Turner School. For more than 40 years, he excelled with Bloomingdale's, the luxury department store chain located in New York City. Since 2006, he has served as the chief engineer with five locations of the aforementioned department store chain in Long Island. In these positions, Mr. Giordanella's responsibilities have included heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration repair and maintenance as well as operating and monitoring heating and cooling facilities, assisting in construction and electrical maintenance, and hiring contractors for construction and repairs.
Mr. Giordanella attributes his success to his deep faith as well as to the influence of his father, Angelo Giordanella, who worked as a painter and struggled to support six children. Esteemed for his hard work, he began his tenure with Bloomingdale's at the age of 18 as a laborer while simultaneously earning an engineering license at night school. Mr. Giordanella considers maintaining his family and marriage of over 30 years to have been his greatest achievements.
Mr. Giordanella has released first novel called "Taj." His dream of becoming an author has become a reality! His novel is available on Amazon. He also hopes to write an autobiography to be titled "43," in celebration of the number of years that he has worked for Bloomingdale's.
