In these positions, he specializes in designing the mechanics of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems within veterinary clinics and animal care centers. Mr. Catlett also manages Comfort Design's financial health and oversees a team of four engineers.
Prior to his present appointments, Mr. Catlett worked as an engineering technician and earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from West Virginia University. He had previously honed his skills in mechanical and plumbing engineering under the tutelage of his father, who currently serves as the other co-owner of Comfort Design. In order to remain aware of the latest developments in his field, Mr. Catlett maintains his affiliation with the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers.
Mr. Catlett's decision to pursue a career in engineering was largely inspired by his interest in thermodynamics and energy analysis. As the son of a veteran engineer, he also learned how to install heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems at a young age. In the coming years, Mr. Catlett intends to expand his team of engineers as well as his clientele by introducing a new 3D modeling service for construction documents.
