Sun Dragon Images is Giving Away a Free Metal Print

Mr. Chianos is very excited about Sun Dragon Images and to celebrate, he is going away a free metal print, Reflections of Ithaca, to one lucky individual who registers for the giveaway. This high gloss, 30x20, metal print of the growing fall colors in the finger lakes of New York is special not only because it is a free gift, but because Mr. Chianos won't be releasing this print for sale until August 2022.

When asked why he was beginning to market his artwork after all these years he said, "Aside from a few forays into craft shows I've practiced the art of photography for my own personal pleasure and the torture of my family and friends. A few years ago, on a lark, I put some of the pictures up on a free art website. It was sort of a fire and forget attempt at selling art. There was no marketing support from the platform. To my surprise, I had some sales. I started to wonder what would happen if I learned how to market my artwork. So I launched Sun Dragon Images with a platform that offers a marketing program. I'm very excited to put my art before a wider audience and see what happens!"

Mr. Chianos has said that Nature, Wildlife, and Landscape photography are all about an image of opportunity. It doesn't matter how much you plan your photographic outing, nature has its own plans. You pack all your gear and head out to the site only to find the clouds have rolled in and the sunset is dull and grey. Or the waterfall that should have been frozen in place has thawed in a recent sudden warm spell. But sometimes, often enough to keep you coming back, it all comes together and you get a beautiful image. An image that makes you sit back and say, "Wow!" You end up with Reflections of Ithaca.

About Sun dragon Images: Steve Chianos is based in Central PA where he explores the state's beautiful scenery and robust history as some of his photographic studies. He isn't limited to that region, however, and when he travels his camera is rarely far from his hand. Sun Dragon Images will feature rotating galleries of photographic studies. On some recent trips, he has started exploring cave photography and will soon be releasing a new gallery, "Life Under a Rock," on his website.
