After working with Martin Paints while attending college, Mr. Robinson began working with a cosmetics company, Your Name Cosmetics/Black Opal Cosmetics, where he devised formulae for eye shadow, mascara, lip gloss, creams and lotions. Following this period, he joined Georgette Klinger Laboratories, a company in New York, through which he established and led the makeup department. In 1987, he established his own company, Spectrum Cosmetics Labs, where he remains active as the owner and president. Driven to remain aware of changes in the field, Mr. Robinson aligns himself with the Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors Association.
An expert in his field, Mr. Robinson holds an associate degree from LaGuardia College and is MBE certified through New York State and New York City. He also provides contract manufacturing services. Additionally, Mr. Robinson was awarded a certificate through the Department of Housing and Urban Development in New Jersey.
