A talented animal trainer, Ms. Lombardo serves as the founder and owner of Pawsitive Training ABQ. Having begun her journey in the field in 2015, she has since distinguished herself in offering indispensable training regimens on behalf of clients and their pets. Offering several private puppy, adolescent, and adult dog training packages, Ms. Lombardo specializes in clicker training, a simple method of teaching and training dogs' basic concepts that help them get on track. She also provides personalized training plans specific to the needs of both the client and their canine companion before the process begins.

A former media relations assistant who worked at her alma mater, the University of New Mexico, in the athletic department, Ms. Lombardo heeded the advice of a colleague and enrolled in a dog training school. After graduating, she began working part-time in the industry while still maintaining her full-time role at the office. The following year, Ms. Lombardo rededicated her focus exclusively on her new business, Pawsitive Training ABQ.
Ms. Lombardo graduated from Cibola High School in Albuquerque. She subsequently earned a bachelor's degree in international business at New Mexico State University in 1988. Shortly thereafter, she acquired a Master of Science in athletic administration at the University of New Mexico in 1993. Well regarded in her subsequent career endeavors, Ms. Lombardo became a certified training partner through the Karen Pryor Academy (KPA) in 2015. Likewise, she has participated in continued education through the KPA every year since 2015 by attending annual conferences.
As a part of her professional commitments, Ms. Lombardo is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, the Pet Professional Guild, and the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. Celebrating her success, she was named as a Top Five Dog Trainer by Albuquerque the Magazine in 2016, 2018 and 2019 and was named as a Top Dog Trainer in 2017, 2020 and 2021. Looking toward the future, Ms. Lombardo hopes that others find encouragement in her success, as well as the courage to follow through on their passions.
