FOLSOM, CA, August 03, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mehrdad "Dezy" Dezyanian has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Mr. Dezyanian is the owner and founder of Dezy's Beef, Bread, and Beer in Orangevale, California. Established in 2020, his veteran-owned and operated Sangak bakery is the only one of its kind in Northern California. Making his all-natural Sangak bread fresh every Monday and Friday, it has no added oil, sugar or preservatives and is made from whole-wheat flour. Mr. Dezyanian also sells a variety of meat kabobs and beer, and offers private catering services for his many customers.
In addition to baking in the kitchen, Mr. Dezyanian oversees all operations. Grateful for the opportunity to start his own takeout restaurant in the U.S., he aspires to expand in the coming years by opening up several additional locations and hiring additional Veterans and interested investors to learn the business. To support his business and local community, Mr. Dezyanian is a member of the Orangevale Chamber of Commerce and the Orangevale International Rotary Club.
Mr. Dezyanian served two years in the U.S. Army between 2009 and 2011 and subsequently owned and operated Dezy's Market from 2017 to 2021. During an earlier stage of his career, he was affiliated with the Foreign Interests Section of the Embassy of Switzerland in Tehran as a security liaison, where he garnered experience in the areas of intelligence law, regulation and policy. Additionally, Mr. Dezyanian worked for the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, as an immersion coordinator.
Mr. Dezyanian holds a Bachelor of Science from Excelsior College in New York and a Master of Public Administration from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. He also completed coursework in mine engineering in the country of Iran. Mr. Dezyanian is fluent in both the Iranian and Afghan dialects of the Persian language, as well as English and spoken Tadjik.
In light of his achievements as an entrepreneur, Mr. Dezyanian's takeout restaurant was recognized as the Best Business of the Year by the Orangevale Chamber of Commerce in 2021. He has also won several national championships for his devotion to martial arts, with a particular emphasis on karate and Jiu-Jitsu.
