As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

An expert in artificial intelligence and quantum computing research, Dr. Wheeler has been a professor and director of data science at the University of North Texas (UNT) since 2021. As a faculty member, he ensures that the curriculum reflects current trends in the data science industry so that classes remain relevant. Dr. Wheeler is also continually exploring possible future classes to expand the university's course offerings.
