Prior to her current role, Dr. Du began her career as a research associate at Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences before becoming a faculty member at the Guanghua School of Stomatology, the Affiliated Hospital of Stomatology Sun Yat-Sen University in 1992. After moving to the United States, she worked in the pathology department at the Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine of the University of Miami in 1995 as a cancer immunology research associate with Dr. Becky Adkins.
Notably, Dr. Du earned a Doctor of Medicine from the Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in Guangzhou, China, in 1992. She then obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Tufts University in 2000. Well-qualified in her field, she is a certified premier Invisalign provider. As part of her professional endeavors, she co-authored "Newborn Mice Develop Balanced Th1/Th2 Primary Effector Responses In Vivo But Are Biased to Th2 Secondary Responses" in 1998, which was published in the Journal of Immunology.
In recognition of her excellent work, Dr. Du was honored among the Best Dentists in Framingham by Expertise.com and as a Top Doctor in 2021.
