Purchasing the company from the previous owner, which was originally established in 1982, he is excelling in his leadership position. In addition to providing superior customer service, Mr. Zachariah is very knowledgeable in his role. Prior to purchasing Boxes To Go, Mr. Zachariah spent two years as a delivery driver for the company. Garnering an extensive understanding of the business during that time, he felt confident about acquiring the operation when the owner decided to retire. Grateful for the opportunity, Mr. Zachariah has not only been able to sustain the company's legacy, but he has also been able to maintain a robust and stable business and keep all the previous employees on board. Looking toward the future, Mr. Zachariah plans to expand operations by opening additional branches throughout the county, beginning in the town of Frisco.
Additionally, Mr. Zachariah's success has enabled him to relocate his family to the U.S. from India. Deriving a sense of accomplishment in knowing that he can provide for his wife and son, as well as his two parents who are now retired, is all the motivation he needs to continue with his future business plans.
Civically, Mr. Zachariah is active as a member of Rotary International. Passionate about contributing to his community, he has also been volunteering for a local nonprofit organization every September since 2015, which provides services to area hospitals, clinics and other organizations in need.
An alumnus of the University of North Texas, Mr. Zachariah received a Bachelor of Arts in animation, graphic design and photography in 2016. During his studies, he served as the student president where he most notably helped foreign students acclimate to life in the U.S. and on campus.
Mr. Zachariah received several awards from Collin College in Texas. He was also a high school nominee for inclusion in Future Business Leaders of America.
