With more than 40 years of excellence to his credit in electronics and communications, Mr. Powell has found success as a data analyst. Having joined Creston Electronics as a senior applications engineer in 2004, he was promoted to a technical trainer in 2007 and then to a field service manager for the advanced technical support group in 2016. Since 2019, he has been a data analyst, focusing his efforts on working with other teams in the company to help them present their information for upper management, specializing in data modeling.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Powell began his career as an instructor in electronics principles with the United States Air Force in 1979. He subsequently worked in electronics sales for Pomeroy's Department Store in 1983 until becoming a dispatcher, installer, service technician and field supervisor for Total Communications Systems Inc. in 1985. He continued his career as an installer and senior programmer for Brandywine Electronics Ltd in 1994.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Powell completed coursework in electronics from the Ohio Institute of Technology in 1977. Well-qualified in his field, he is a gold-level Crestron-certified programmer. In recognition of his excellent work, he was named Employee of the Quarter for Sales Operation. Within the coming years, having risen in his career to such leadership and stellar expertise, Mr. Powell intends to spend more time with his wife, 11 children and eight grandchildren.
