With more than two decades of excellence in military and police leadership, Dr. Prince has earned distinction as a business owner. In this capacity, he is the owner of CompressionsCPR LLC, a CPR and first aid training site with the American Heart Association. Since 2020, he has focused his efforts on providing CPR and first aid courses to students across the spectrum.
Before starting his private career, Dr. Prince served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1998 to 2002 with the 1Bn 3rd Marine Division Infantry Battalion. After serving his time in the United States Marine Corps, Dr. Prince joined the York City Police Department where he climbed the ranks of police officer, detective, and sergeant. He retired from the NYPD as a Sergeant of Detectives in the Manhattan South Grand Larceny Squad. During his time in the NYPD Dr. Prince received numerous awards for excellent and meritorious police duties. Dr. Prince remains true to his military background as a member of Veterans Affairs, the American Legion Post 460, and the Disabled American Veterans. He is also affiliated with the Sergeant's Benevolent Association. International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association, and National Education Association.
While embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Prince earned a bachelor's degree and a Master of Public Administration degree in public policy from Ashford University. He then attained a Doctor of Education degree in curriculum and instruction from Capella University in 2021. His dissertation is titled: Integrating A Humanistic Approach in Law Enforcement Training: A Humanistic Curriculum to Effect Change. The purpose of his study was to address the training of police officers and provide a curriculum designed to equip police officers with a humanistic outlook, which should lead to them policing in a less coercive manner. Well-qualified in his field, he holds an organizational leadership certificate from John Jay College, also a personal leadership and success certificate from Colum
bia Business School Executive Education, and a Lean Six Sigma green bell certificate.
Looking to the future, Dr. Prince intends to continue his work with education while also volunteering his services in his community. Dr. Prince is a goal-driven person by nature,he enjoys challenging himself and is committed to seeing each aspiration to its successful conclusion.
