Stober Evans Celebrated for Dedication to the Service of our Country and Security

Mr. Evans retired from the United States Marine Corps in 2009



After his retirement in 2009, Mr. Evans gained valuable expertise in Security Training and Operations, Private Investigations, Personal Protection, and more.

    ORANGE PARK, FL, December 23, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Stober Evans has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Driven by his motto "Treat others the way you want to be treated," Mr. Evans dedicated himself to his country as an Assistant Operation Chief of the First Marine Corps Division as an Operation and Training Manager with the United States Marine Corps, through which he served between 1982 and 2009. Upon his return to civilian life, he worked at Mayo Hospital in Jacksonville Florida as a Security Guard, Duval County Courthouse as Head of Security, Chamberlain University College of Nursing as a Security Guard, Camp Blanding Joint Training Center as Head of Security and Jacksonville Job Corps as a Security Guard.

After his retirement in 2009, Mr. Evans gained valuable expertise in Security Training and Operations, Private Investigations, Personal Protection, and more as the Site Security Manager of G4S Security and First Coast Security and as a Driver, and Security Officer for the Jacksonville Job Corps Center. Outside of his work, Mr. Evans devoted himself to his community by volunteering at the Shiloh Outreach Center, helping military veterans, and Combat Group at the Veteran Center of Jacksonville Florida where he has attended for the last several years.

An expert in his field, Mr. Evans completed coursework in Science in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Administration through the University of Phoenix. While his career has been filled with standout moments, he takes the most pride in being a mentor. He retired as a Master Gunnery Sergeant/E-9 and the only retired high-ranking U.S. Marine in his hometown of Santee, South Carolina. In the coming years, Mr. Evans aims to reflect back on a notable career and enjoy his well-deserved retirement.
