Dr. Frey has led a distinguished and diverse career in education, law enforcement, and counseling for more than 45 years. After teaching elementary and high school education and serving as an administrator for a private Christian school for more than five years, he spent more than two decades in higher education as a religious professor at Newport University and one year as the dean of Newport International University in Wyoming. Afterward, Dr. Frey transitioned into law enforcement as a corrections officer at a local correctional facility before being recruited by the Hagen Police Department in Hagan, Georgia, where he served for 2 years as the chief of police. Dr. Frey served 22 years in law enforcement at various police agencies before retiring.

After retiring from the police force, Dr. Frey garnered three decades of success in mental health, and subsequently in private practice in the state of Georgia where he specialized in substance abuse disorders, psychotherapy, depression, and solution-focused brief therapy. Frequently assisting patients that had fallen through the cracks and were unable to obtain help with their addiction issues, Dr. Frey also treated individuals with various other mental health issues. In retirement, Dr. Frey continues to devote a lot of his free time to providing pro bono addiction counseling to those in need.

During Dr. Frey's years as a police officer, he was notably instrumental in keeping the streets safe by putting lawbreakers away. Among his most notable accomplishments while on the force, he was recognized for making a $65,000 drug bust with the help of two informers after finding illegal substances in the back of a trailer. Outside of his primary career objectives as a mental health worker, Dr. Frey also authored "Clinical Counseling and Psychotherapy" via AuthorHouse in 2012, which was a huge professional accomplishment.
Civically, Dr. Frey has lent his time and expertise as an adviser on behalf of the American Board of Disability Analysts in Nashville, Tennessee. He has also volunteered his time to the Georgia State Defense Force where he was responsible for immunizing 120 individuals in a single day. Additionally, Dr. Frey served with the Georgia Baptist Convention as a member of the board of directors. Dr. Frey notably served his country in the U.S. Army for seven years.

Dr. Frey possesses a rich educational background. He received a Bachelor of Arts in religious education at Immanuel Baptist College in 1976, followed by a Master of Art in theology in 1977 and a Doctor of Religious Education in 1988 after Immanuel Baptist College. Dr. Frey also received a Master of Art in counseling at Luther Rice College and Seminary in 1992, as well as several additional doctorate degrees in bible philosophy, sociology, and Christian counseling at various institutions and a Doctor of Education in counseling and administration at Immanuel Baptist College. Additional educational pursuits to his credit include credentials as a substance use disorder certified counselor, certification in addiction counseling, forensic counseling, and sex addictions treatment, and board certification as a doctoral addictions counselor through the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists and Psychodiagnosticians. Additionally, Dr. Frey is a 52-year veteran ordained pastor.

As a testament to his success, Dr. Frey has been listed in the International Who's Who of Intellectuals of the Cambridge England International Biographical Center. He also received an Honorary Doctor of Laws and Letters from the Christian Bible College.
