Pauline Zweers-Asche Recognized by Marquis Who's Who for Dedication to Early Childhood Education

Ms. Zweers-Asche counts as her most notable achievement an ability to forge productive relationships with every child in her classroom.

Ms. Zweers-Asche is a Montessori kindergarten teacher with the Monticello Montessori Public Charter School, a role she has fulfilled since 2019. She brings deep experience in the education field to her position, including as a para-educator at Independence High School, from 2016 to 2017, and as the director of Villa Montessori School between 2007 and 2014, where from 2004 to 2014 she was a head teacher. Ms. Zweers-Asche also relies on a clinical background in social work to relate to students and colleagues, having served as an Intensive Behavioral Intervention Professional at Community Partnerships of Idaho and Advocates for Inclusion between 2001 and 2003.

A stellar educational background is critical to Ms. Zweers-Asche's success. She holds a Master of School Psychology from Idaho State University, which she completed in 2017, and a Master of Education in Montessori from Notre Dame de Namur University, completed in 1996. Moreover, Ms. Zweers-Asche holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, with a Minor in Individual and Social Psychology, from San Diego State University.

Ms. Zweers-Asche has earned numerous industry certifications, including completion of the Certificate Program for Intensive Behavioral Intervention from the University of Idaho. She also holds a Certificate in Early Childhood from the American Montessori Society, an organization of which she is a lifetime member, the state of California granted her a Director Certificate for Day Care as a Director of child care centers, and a K-8 Teaching Credential from the state of Idaho. She is proud to have been recognized as the Professional Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women in 2014, and Ms. Zweers-Asche actively volunteers in support of worthwhile causes.

Supportive mentors have contributed to Ms. Zweers-Asche's success and helped direct her own efforts in teaching and student support. She also credits her parents with a prominent role in shaping her personal and professional demeanor and names Eleanor Spare, Nadine Dawson, Mirjana Krtolica, and more recently Jeannie Johnson, as positive influences.
