Since its establishment, Ms. Bentzel has garnered extensive success specializing in a myriad of color, hairstyling, esthetic, and makeup services for clients. She and her team are also presently collaborating with a modeling agency by providing hair and makeup services for models' portfolios.
In addition to overseeing operations for Glamour Room LLC, Ms. Bentzel is a makeup specialist and the director of education for The Beauty Institute in Philadelphia since 2015. The school's partnership with Schwarzkopf Professional notably serves an instrumental role in the school's success as a premier provider of cosmetology education. As an educator, Ms. Bentzel has taught and mentored hundreds of students. Prior to joining The Beauty Institute, she garnered recognition teaching at Paul Mitchell in Philadelphia from 2014 to 2015 and at the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute between 2013 and 2014.
Throughout the course of her professional career, Ms. Bentzel has provided her expertise in hair and makeup for many major events, including fashion shows in New York, Los Angeles, and London, for the New York Bridal Fashion Show and the Golden Globe Awards, and for major organizations such as BET and Vogue magazine. Additionally, she has worked with Michael Kors, Betsey Johnson, and Nicole Miller, and has also collaborated with Tippi Shorter, a celebrity hairstylist, artistic director, and spokesperson for Aveda. Looking toward the next five to 10 years, Ms. Bentzel aims to continue working with more designers and well-known leaders in the industry.
Having been in the industry since 2004, Ms. Bentzel worked for QVC as a hair and makeup artist for on-air talent and photo shoots at the company's West Chester, Pennsylvania, corporate headquarters. Among other career opportunities, Ms. Bentzel provided her expertise to the Donatelli Modeling and Casting Agency in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Ms. Bentzel graduated from Manheim Central High School in Manheim, Pennsylvania, in 2003. She subsequently completed coursework at the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in 2009 and the Aveda Business College in 2013. Ms. Bentzel received certification as a color specialist, hot head hair extension specialist, and educator and received credentials as a licensed cosmetologist and instructor through the Jean Madeline AVEDA Institute.
Honoring her contributions, Ms. Bentzel was named among the Top 100 at the Paul Mitchell Gala in 2015. She also received a Royale Masterclass Award from Schwarzkopf and was named among the Best of 2019, 2020, and 2021 by Glamour Room LLC.
