Collins and Stone Funeral Home Expresses Profound Sympathy Over Stolen Vehicle

Suspect is still at large after theft of a corpse



    ROCKFORD, IL, February 01, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Since Saturday, January 21, 2023, Collins and Stone Funeral Home Director, Brandy Collins, has been in full cooperation with Rockford Police Department after a 23 year old man committed a cold-hearted act that included theft of a vehicle and abuse of a corpse. The vehicle has been recovered and most importantly, the body being conveyed in the back of the vehicle has also been recovered.

"We strive to lessen the burden of bereaved families as they face a very difficult time and we work diligently to comply with standards of regulations that apply to the funeral home profession.
