    NEWNAN, GA, February 10, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark D. Maddox has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Drawing on over three decades of expertise, Mr. Maddox specializes in enforcing Federal laws to help end workplace discrimination. Since 1994, he has found much success as a federal investigator at the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). In this capacity, he is responsible for ensuring that employees and individuals seeking employment are not discriminated against due to their race, color, religion, sex, transgender status, sexual orientation, national origin, age (40 or older), disability, or genetic information. Mr. Maddox initially began his career serving as a contract specialist for the Defense Industrial Supply Center from 1985 until 1994.

Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Maddox pursued an education at La Salle University, where he attained a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management in 1984. He continued his academic efforts at Widener University, earning a master's degree in human resource management in 1996. As a commitment to his field, he has ongoing training in employment law with the EEOC, obtained a certificate in contract negotiation, and contracts and pricing via the United States Department of Defense, as well as for communication and success in leadership via Toastmasters International. Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Maddox regularly volunteers in assisting local missions through his church, and previously volunteered as a parental advisor at the Young Men and Women In Charge Foundation Inc (after school STEM program for boys and girls).

Well regarded for his contributions to the field, Mr. Maddox has received multiple awards, including Chairman Gilbert F. Casellas' Organizational Performance Award for fiscal year 1997 at the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where he has been recognized on multiple occasions for his outstanding performance as an investigator. Mr. Maddox is most proud when he is able to uncover employment discrimination and acquire a proper resolution. Reflecting on a long career, he attributes much of his success to his Christian faith and to his sister, who was the first person in his family to receive a college education, which inspired him to pursue his own academic advancement. Mr. Maddox is also grateful for his father and mother who always encouraged him to work hard and get the most from his education and to serve people who are in need. Looking toward to the future, Mr. Maddox aspires to continuously utilize his expertise as a public servant to eradicate employment discrimination.
