Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Cespedes completed coursework in engineering at the Miami Dade College. He continued his academic efforts at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in professional aeronautics and aviation administration in 1992. His expertise in the field led him to compete in national model airplane competitions, where he placed third in the country in 2008.
