Additionally, he lends his expertise to the board of directors of the Missouri Farmers Union and is a valued member of the Urban County Committee of the Farm Service Agency and a member of the National Young Farmers Coalition.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Lewis began his career as a physical education teacher with St. Louis Public Schools in 2008 and at the same time served as a residential advisor with Covenant House Missouri. Among his professional accomplishments, he is proud to have been honored with a Missouri St3:te Fair Farm Family Award in 2022.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Lewis earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from MacMurray College in 2006. Following this accomplishment, he attained Master of Science in management from Walden University in 2015. Within the coming years, Mr. Lewis intends to purchase land to continue his urban farming practice. As a fifth-generation farmer with his family, he will continue to achieve a great deal of success for himself and his community.
