After witnessing the need for mental health professionals that catered to the Black community, Ms. Williams established Legacy Counseling LLC, where as she serves as a mental and behavioral health therapist. Since 2020, she has helped her clients find realistic coping methods to deal with their issues and offered mental health services to offenders in the state of Georgia.
Over the years, she also begun compiling her personal and professional experiences into books that she has published, including "The Heart of a Therapist" and "Diary of an Army Wife." Driven to stay abreast of changes in the field, Ms. Williams is affiliated with several organizations, including the Alpha Gamma Xi Military Sorority.
An expert in her field, Ms. Williams earned a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in sociology in 2010. Subsequently, she received a Master of Social Work from Hawaii Pacific University and became a certified forensic social worker and clinical child youth family social worker. In recognition of her outstanding body of work, she was named an honorary instructor through Walden University and has been featured in Black Gold Magazine. While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in opening her own business and making it accessible to those in need. Though hard work and dedication have brought her far, she credits her success to her desire to help others and her passion for what she does. Within the next five years, Ms. Williams aims to focus more on her business and eventually establish clinics all over the United States. Ultimately, she will also do more speaking engagements and obtain a doctoral degree.
