Here is how the 1st Annual Kate Linder Celebrity Charity Gala will join in the fight to find a cure.
1. Celebrities will unite with Kate Linder February 11, 2010 at the Montage Beverly Hills Hotel, 225 North Canon Drive, Beverly Hills, California from 6 PM to 10 PM beginning with a red carpet parade of stars showing support for the charity.
2. Product and services donors will begin the evening with a silent auction of rare artifacts, hard-to-find film, music and sports memorabilia, including adrenaline inducing experiences, such as flying an actual fighter jet in combat maneuvers, skydiving and a 60 lap NASCAR Talladega stock car driving experience.
3. Supporters, friends and the public will then have dinner with celebrities and dignitaries. Ticket proceeds for the dinner will benefit The ALS Association, Greater Los Angeles Chapter.
4. Attending celebrities will walk the "product runway" showcasing fashion, organic beauty products, major award show experiences, luxury jewelry, and other items prior to a live auction open to the public, friends and supporters of The ALS Association.
5. Additional funds will be raised during a live auction, closing out the evening's extravaganza. Items included in the auction will be a Rolling Stones group signed "red electric" guitar, fashion, luxury jewelry, Frank Sinatra LP signed by The Ratpack, Fly a Fighter Jet experience, Skydiving experiences, Disney original art, trip for 2 to the 2010 Olympics, surfboards, resort getaways, rare artifacts, art, award show tickets, walk on TV and film roles and over 70 other exciting luxury and hard-to-find items.
