Since 2010, he has found much success as the founding owner and principal of ALCOVA Architecture. In this capacity, Mr. Potesta is the lead designer and project manager responsible for marketing, overseeing and assisting employees, strategizing, client relations and communication.
Mr. Potestà initially began his career as a researcher at the Istituto Ecopolis in Milan, Italy from 1994 to 1997. Following this post, he was active as a researcher in the Urban Planning department at the Politecnico di Milano in Italy from 1997 until 2000. Between 2000 and 2010, Mr. Potestà garnered expertise as a senior associate at Makers Architecture and Urban Design LLP.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Potestà pursued an education at Politecnico di Milano in Italy, where he earned a degree in urban planning architecture in 1994. As a commitment to his field, he has obtained a Washington State license in architecture. Additionally, Mr. Potestà has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
Well-regarded for his contributions to the field, Mr. Potestà has received multiple awards, including the Best of Houzz in Design award from the Houzz Community in 2014 and the Best of Houzz in Remodeling award from Houzz.com in 2013.
