George John Schuschereba has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry

George John Schuschereba is recognized for his expertise as an HSE construction consultant with GJS SH&E Solutions

    DERRY, NH, April 11, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- George John Schuschereba has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Leveraging more than five decades of excellence in health and safety management across fields in the construction industry, Mr. Schuschereba has earned distinction as a health, safety and environment (HSE) construction consultant with GJS SH&E Solutions. Since 2015, he has focused his efforts on creating systems that lead to a safer operation environmentally and for employees, including having no loss of life. He ensures the facility does not create a situation that is hazardous to the area, specializing in nuclear power, petrochemical, oil and gas industries, and mining industries. Additionally, he lends his expertise to the American Society of Safety Professionals and to the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management Society, the latter of which certified him as a safety and health manager.

Mr. Schuschereba began his career as a construction safety inspector in 1973. He then served as the acting HSE manager for Foster Wheeler/SABIC in 2006 and became the project HSE advisor for Exxonmobil in 2008. He subsequently functioned as a HSE advisor for Shell in 2010 until taking a role as a HSE consultant and manager for Omega/Maersk in 2013.

Among his professional accomplishments, Mr. Schuschereba is proud to have been part of the World Trade Center Recovery Program after the 9/11 attack. He has worked on building sites in 20 countries on five continents; some of these projects employed 30,000 plus construction workers.

Mr. Schuschereba grew up on a farm in Avoca, NY where he spent his early years fishing, hunting and trapping. He then earned an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration and Management from Corning Community College in 1971 followed by a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Husson University in 1974. He speaks Ukrainian, English and Spanish.

Within the coming years, Mr. Schuschereba intends to focus more of his efforts on mentorship, helping to guide rising professionals in his field while he spends more time with his wife and grandchildren. His ultimate goal is to help improve the world of construction safety as much as possible.
