An accomplished scientist and educator with years of experience in chemical engineering, education, and pharmaceuticals, Mr. Ojiaku presently serves as the staff pharmacist at Walgreens Drug Store, where he has served since 2016. Outside of his work, he contributes to his community and those less fortunate through a number of organizations, including Humanity as One, which aims to help emerging and existing leaders gain competencies and open new professional opportunities.
An expert in his field, Mr. Ojiaku holds a Master of Education in educational administration from The University of Texas at El Paso. Subsequently, he received a Master of Science in chemical engineering from New Mexico State University, a mid-management administration certification for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade through the Texas State Board of Education, and a PharmD from Texas Southern University. Driven to stay abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Ojiaku aligns himself with the National Community Pharmacists Association.
While his career has been filled with standout moments, Mr. Ojiaku is most proud of becoming an educator, a chemical engineer, and a doctor of pharmacy in the United States after emigrating from Nigeria. He has always been determined to reach the highest level in any profession.
