Since 1989, she has focused her efforts on assisting with the business side of various church operations, including the regulatory requirements of being in compliance with their legal profile and tax filings. She also bridges the gap between the knowledge of how the government looks at the church and how the government looks at the clergy, helping them understand their filing responsibilities and resources.
Outside of her primary career efforts, Ms. Kennedy-Jacobs serves as the principal & chief executive officer of The Pastor's House, LLC. She authored a publication entitled "The Pastor's House: The Invaluable Housing Allowance," which was published in 2023. Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Kennedy-Jacobs earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Rutgers University. Additionally, she lends her expertise as a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals, the National Association of Notaries, the National Association of Black Accountants and Board Member of the Nazarene Community Development Foundation, Camden, NJ.
