Drawing on years of experience in the public service sphere, Ms. Hopson presently serves as a Management Analyst with the Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). Ms. Hopson is responsible for investigating and constructing timely responses to all inquiries and front office taskers submitted by Exam Liaisons, Contract Vendors, Congressional Officials, Veteran Service Organizations, VA Hotline, and other stakeholders.

Prior to this position, Ms. Hopson was a Supervisory Veteran Service Representative (Coach) in the Veteran Service Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. In this role, Ms. Hopson supervised, motivated, mentored, and led fifteen Rating Veteran Service Representatives, consisting of GS-11's to GS-12's, using prior experience backed by judgment, case law, strong work ethic, and irreproachable integrity. Ms. Hopson began her VBA career in May 2019, as a Veteran Service Representative at the Philadelphia Regional Office in the Pension Management Center. Within her tenure with the Department of Veteran Affairs, she has also held positions as a Veteran Claims Examiner, Rating Veteran Service Representative, and Supervisory Veteran Service Representative (Assistant Coach). During the early stages of her career, Ms. Hopson honed her expansive skill set while working as a paralegal for Bell & Bell, LLP, Attorney-At-Law and appeals analyst for Independence Blue Cross & Blue Shield.

In addition, to a successful professional career in public service, Ms. Hopson has also solidified her name in the literacy industry. Since 1992, Ms. Hopson has contributed to the arts, entertainment, music, and media industries by putting thoughts to paper. She is a best-selling author, award-winning playwright, and highly requested writer whose books are known for their epic themes, inspirational concepts, and women empowerment storylines. Under her pen name, Charron Monaye, she has authored over twenty-five books in six different genres, served as a staff writer for CNN iReport and The Philadelphia Association of Paralegals, contributed to twenty book compilations, and created and produced five theatrical productions and one short film. Her stage play, Get Out of Your Own Way, is her most successful play to date, with premieres and sold-out audiences in Hollywood, CA, and Times Square, NY.

An expert in her field, Ms. Hopson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from West Chester University, a Master's in Public Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management, a Certificate in Paralegal Studies, Life Coaching, and awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy from CICA International University & Seminary. Alongside her work, she is a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Ruth Chapter #66 PHA-PA and the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Nu Upsilon Zeta Chapter. In light of her professional achievements, Ms. Hopson was appointed as "Fellow of the Most Excellent Order of International Experts (FOIE)" in the United Nations and the recipient of an Assembly Resolution from the New Jersey General Assembly and Citation from the 31st New Jersey Senate.
