Dr. Evelyne M. Davidson was introduced to the health care industry by her parents, who were both involved in medicine. Attending Vanderbilt University in her youth, she received a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering in 1983 before receiving an MD from East Tennessee State University in 1987. Subsequently, she completed an internship from 1987 to 1988 and a residency in internal medicine from 1988 to 1990, both at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
