Since 2009, she has focused her efforts on driving two of the largest teams in the industry, Matrix Professional Hair Care Show Teams and the Chrystofer Benson Collective, a community of hairdressers who support each other's pursuits of success. Additionally, she lends her expertise as a valued member of the USEF, the Professional Convention Management Association and Meeting Professionals International.
Before taking ownership of her business, Ms. Cassano began her career as a buyer at an OEM manufacturer in the automotive industry and became a manager of corporate events and shows for Matrix, a division of L'Oreal U.S.A. in 1993, providing full cycle event planning and managing shows and conferences. She subsequently served as a logistics manager for LDJ PRODUCTIONS NYC, INC in 2009 until 2013 and was the director of events, shows and logistics for CLICS for a year in 2021. Among her professional accomplishments, she is proud to have received a Bristol Myers Squibb Innovative Thinking Award in 1997 and to have had her work featured in the Cleveland Press in 1993.
Prior to starting her professional journey, Ms. Cassano completed coursework in purchasing supply management and marketing at Cuyahoga Community College. Well-qualified in her field, she is certified in technical meeting and event production with the PCMA Event Leadership Institute and is a certified meeting manager by Meeting Professionals International. She also holds certifications as a meeting professional with the Convention Industry Council and as a digital event strategist with PCMA.
Within the coming years, Ms. Cassano intends to focus more of her efforts on her work with the Fashion and Beauty Industry. Having originally worked within the hair industry as an educator and guest artist on stage for Matrix, she found a love for theater, hair, and production, leading her to event planning.
