It was notably the only facility in Columbia County that did not contract a positive COVID-19 case while he was in charge. Mr. Yeboah previously held the same position at Diamond Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Troy, New York. During an earlier stage of his career, he gained experience as an assistant administrator for The Grand Healthcare System.
Looking toward future professional goals, Mr. Yeboah aims to explore consulting in health care administration. He would also consider an investment or executive role in the health care line of services. Having come to the U.S. in 2010, Mr. Yeboah started his career working as a dishwasher at the Little Sisters of the Poor (Our Lady of Hope Residence) in Latham, followed by overnights doing inventory management at Walmart. Deciding to continue his education by obtaining his master's degree, he is now in a career that he finds very rewarding, and he looks forward to continually making a difference in the lives of the aged and seniors in general.
Possessing a rich educational background, Mr. Yeboah received an associate's degree in marketing, advertising, and public relations from the Institute of Commercial Management in Hampshire, England, in 2005, a Bachelor of Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration in Ghana in 2009, and a master's degree in health services administration from Russell Sage College in 2013. Additional educational pursuits to Mr. Yeboah's credit include licenses as a nursing home administrator in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. He also received the health services executive qualified credentials through the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards.
Mr. Yeboah has attained Fellow status of the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA). He is a member of the nominating and member experience committees at ACHCA, National level. Additionally, he serves on the Awards, Membership and Diversity Committees of the New York Chapter of ACHCA.
Honoring his work, Mr. Yeboah and his facility received a Healthcare Hero Award from the ACHCA. The award was personally rewarding for him because it came from the recommendation of the public, recognizing their dedication to serving residents and providing high-quality care. Mr. Yeboah was also highlighted in a 2022 edition of the Albany Business Review for his professional accomplishments.
