In 2007, Fernando was inducted into the prestigious Pinnacle Society, a consortium consisting of the top 80 headhunters in North America. He has served as a former board member of this organization and was an ex-Board Member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Personal Services, where he received the District Director of the Year award in 2013.
Fernando's company maintains a strong presence in the business community and holds memberships in various organizations. Before assuming his current role, Mr. Espinosa began his recruiting career in 1994 at Corporate Recruiters, where he excelled as a search director. In 1999, he took on the position of Senior Managing Partner for QualiFind Executive Search until 2012 where he founded Top Notch Finders. Throughout his career, he has been a sought-after speaker for prestigious organizations such as the Pinnacle Society, NAPS, several Mexican universities, and maquiladora and manufacturing forums. He has also shared his expertise through various written works, including his authorship of "Professionals & Executives in Mexico: Building Your Personal Career Brand" and "Stories of a Mexican Recruiter Negotiating with Japanese Professionals & Executives" for Hirecentrix, among others.
Academically accomplished, Mr. Espinosa earned a bachelor's degree in international relations from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 1987, graduating with honors and receiving the Gabino Barreda Medal for being the top student in his field. He went on to obtain a master's degree in international business from CETYS Universidad in 1998, also graduating with honors. Demonstrating his commitment to professional development, he obtained a certificate in human resources from the University of California, San Diego in 2003 and holds certifications as an accredited consultant, personnel consultant, diversity recruiter, and employee retention specialist.
With fluency in Japanese, English, French, and Spanish, Mr. Espinosa's linguistic skills have further enhanced his professional capabilities. He won an oratory contest in Japanese in 1989 during the celebration of the 100 years of Mexico-Japan relationship.
