During an earlier stage of her career, Dr. Clary also held office management and paralegal positions and taught courses at Lincoln Technical Institute in Lowell, Massachusetts, ITT Technical Institute in Indianapolis, and Ivy Technical Institute (now Ivy Tech Community College) in Indianapolis.
Dr. Clary's career in the arts and entertainment industry has included acting in "Genius," "Heels," and "Three Corners of Deception" in 2021, "Indy500" in 2018, and an appearance in the 2018 documentary "One Girl at a Time." Among other work, she has appeared in several independent films, videos, commercials, and public service announcements. Moreover, Dr. Clary has modeled for hair and talent shows, has participated in children's fashion shows, and more.
Volunteering her time to various worthy causes, Dr. Clary has been active with Shelter for Women and Children, Third Phase Inc., and Cardboard Box Ministries in Indiana. She has also advocated for the mentally ill via the Dr. Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center and, among other roles, was involved in political campaign work.
At age eight, Dr. Clary began studying dance at Vicki's School of Dancing and Acting. After high school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in criminal justice from Curry College in 2000 and 2004, respectively. She also received a Doctor of Philosophy in clinical psychology from Walden University in 2021. Additional educational pursuits to Dr. Clary's credit include certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, business and law, criminal law, and paralegal. To remain aware of developments in her field, she is a member of the American Psychological Association.
Because of her long and successful career in arts and entertainment, Dr. Clary has received numerous awards and recognitions, including awards from film festivals such as the Dreamz Catcher International Film Festival and a Best Actress Award and Best Director Award. She was also honored to receive a Certificate of Recognition for Working with Teens.
