Prior to joining Chester County, she worked in the same position for Bamberg County School District. During the early stages of her career, Ms. Zwiker worked as the clinical supervisor and environmental health manager for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, where she worked between 2002 and 2016.
Over the years, Ms. Zwiker has also gained valuable professional expertise as a circulation supervisor for the College of Charleston and as an accounting technician and services specialist for the United States Air Force. An expert in her field, she earned a Bachelor of Science in physical education and health from the College of Charleston in 2000. Subsequently, Ms. Zwiker expanded upon her professional knowledge, earning an MBA from Webster University four years later.
Though her career has been filled with standout moments, Ms. Zwiker is most proud of fixing problems in her work as a nutrition director for two different school districts. Bamberg County School District was in dire financial straits upon her arrival. However, after joining the district she helped turn it around. At the time, they were losing $50,000 a year. With her help, the district began making $2 million a year. The cornerstone of her success lay in her persistence and her drive. Within the next five years, Ms. Zwiker intends to help other people in the same way that she has been helped throughout her career.
