With more than a decade of excellence to her credit as an architectural designer, Ms. Samarkina has earned distinction as an associate with HOK. Since 2022, she has focused her efforts on engaging in architectural design projects for a variety of clients. Additionally, she is a valued associate with the American Institute of Architects and LEED Green Associate with USGBC.
Prior to her current role with HOK, Ms. Samarkina began her career as an architect in St. Petersburg in 2007. Following this period, she joined the architectural staff with Callison in 2013 shortly after moving to Seattle, United States with her family, and subsequently with the Stemper Architecture Collaborative in 2016. She continued her career as an architectural associate with MG2 Design.
To prepare for her career in architecture, Ms. Samarkina earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in Russia in 2006. Following this achievement, she attained a Master of Architecture from the same institution in 2008. Well-qualified in her field, she volunteered as a mentor in architecture for the ACE Mentor Program of America in 2020-2021.
Looking to the future, Ms. Samarkina intends to continue her career working on exciting and complex projects. As she advances her skills and deepens her expertise, she will grow further as a professional, allowing her to engage in more project management positions.
