An accomplished business professional with years of experience in the insurance industry, Ms. Randall presently excels as the Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer for Richmond National Insurance Company. In this capacity, she maintains responsibility for all underwriting functions and product lines, oversees eight departments, and liaises with the underwriting leaders, claims and legal teams, and information technology staff. Over the years, Ms. Randall has worked in varying management and executive positions with Kinsale Insurance, through which she established the Energy division. She went on to lead both the Energy and Environmental divisions before being promoted to Vice President of Underwriting over Commercial Property and Inland Marine. While in this role she created and oversaw the Small Property division.
During the early stages of her career, Ms. Randall gained valuable expertise in the insurance field as an associate underwriter specializing in the energy industry with James River Insurance. She earned several designations: Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Associate in Commercial Underwriting, Associate in Insurance Services, and Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance through The Institutes. She also sat on the local Richmond Chapter of the CPCU Society's board for five years.
More recently, she was accepted into Chief, a private membership network for women executive leaders, and she completed the Distinguished Women in Leadership Program at the University of Richmond School of Professional and Continuing Studies and currently serves as an advisor to the course. Before embarking on her professional journey, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and History from Sweet Briar College. Here she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, the leadership honor society and the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society.
