Bearing a great passion for politics and the legislative process, he studied law at Paulista University, where he received a Bachelor of Laws in 2010. Following this accomplishment, he went on to work as a paralegal at Robortella e Peres Advogados. However, faced with a flawed political system, legal insecurity and a general lack of opportunity, he elected to change careers and immigrated to the United States, where he redefined himself in the construction industry.
Beginning his journey in Florida, Mr. Paiva became fluent in English and subsequently studied business administration, attaining several certifications in entrepreneurship, business operations, office protocols and strategic business management – notably, he received the latter certificate from the Harvard University Extension School. Committed to long-term growth, he currently seeks to attain a master's degree in project management from the Florida Institute of Technology.
While pursuing his education, Mr. Paiva has served in various roles in the home construction field, including as an intern with Ciel Power, an office administrator for Hardscapers of Central Florida and a field auditor with Lennar Homes, where he saved the company more than $2 million in only two years of activity. Presently, he is a purchasing agent for Dream Finders Homes. In this capacity, he specializes in procurement planning, supplier selection, cost analysis and budgeting, quality assurance and contract administration. Throughout his time with Dream Finders, he has garnered a reputation for instilling trust in not only his superiors but with those through whom he does business. Hoping to continue his rise up the corporate ladder at Dream Finders, Mr. Paiva ultimately hopes to establish his own company in the home-building marketplace once he has gained enough experience.
