Drawing on years of professional experience in finance, Ms. Gach-Mils presently excels as the owner of Nebraska Coast, Inc., where she has served in various other positions, including log clerk, dispatcher, safety and compliance, vice president of finance and administration, and secretary since the early 1980s. Through the company, a refrigerated trucking business that specializes in the delivery of a wide range of goods, Ms. Gach-Mils oversees accounts payable and receivable, social media management, billing, data entry, and a number of financial matters.
Outside of her work, Ms. Gach-Mils contributes to her community through Love On a Leash Therapy Dogs, through which she has served as a dog handler since 2018, and Promise 4 Paws Dog Sanctuary since 2017. Previously, she also dedicated herself to starting the first Humane Society in Council Bluffs, and has helped such organizations as SOLAS, Save Our Local Animal Shelters, Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue, and the Pottawattamie County Sheriff's Office. Nebraska Coast, Inc. goes above and beyond transporting goods for America. In 2016, Nebraska Coast and its truckers teamed up with the local animal rescue, Mid America Boston Terrier Rescue to help transport homeless dogs into foster through the rescue, in hopes of finding their forever families. An expert in her field, Ms. Gach-Mils completed college coursework after graduating from Underwood High School.
While her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Gach-Mils takes the most pride in her career's longevity with Nebraska Coast, Inc.
