With more than four decades of excellence in modularization and fabrication, Mr. McDonald has earned distinction as a senior project/construction manager. While employed with Kellog Brown and Root LLC since 2018, his focused efforts were oversite of construction, fabrication, erection, and assembly of modules, for some of the world's biggest projects such as Gulf Coast Growth Ventures, (GCGV). GCGV, an Exxon Mobile and Sabic joint venture, is one of his greatest accomplishments. Presently he is working on a multi-billion-dollar project fabricating and erecting modules for a plant being built in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana for Ventures Global LNG.
Prior to his current role, Mr. McDonald worked with Fluor Technical Services, a major construction and engineering company, for eight years. In his early career, he worked for family-owned construction companies that were major contractors in the Gulf Coast area, working his way from a journeyman pipefitter to a foreman, general foreman and superintendent. To enhance his career, he attained certification as a Certified Construction Manager, CCM, from the Construction Manager Certification Institute in 2014 and as a Project Management Professional, PMP, from the Project Management Institute that same year.
