She later realized that she could pivot her care of clients from fashion to skincare, which prompted her to attend the Euro Institute of Skin Care to become an esthetician. Still, her luxury fashion background is the root of her business.

Next, to continue her ongoing skincare education, Ms. Siao is currently working toward getting her NCEA certification, the highest voluntary credential in the United States for the profession. Ms. Siao graduated from the Euro Institute of Skin Care in Seattle, Wash., as an honorary student in 2018, with the highest sales in retail history at the school.
Ms. Siao credits her success to a deep care for others, something passed down to her from her mother and late husband. Her clients fondly know her as "Mama Siao."
