Since 2019, he has focused his efforts on providing mechanical, electrical and plumbing consulting, designing building systems for existing and new commercial buildings. His company focuses on energy conservation, sustainability strategies and creating major infrastructure for the buildings. He and his team are dedicated to representing their clients while building the most energy-efficient and cost-conscious deliverables possible. He is most proud to his involvement in the mechanical plant's operations and upgrades at the MetLife Building in New York, where he and his team reconstructed the mechanical room as a high-end office base on the upper level of the building from 2016 until 2019.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Anthes began his career as a lead systems engineer for PSEG Nuclear LLC in 2002 and became a senior project engineer for The Design Collaborative in 2006. He continued his career as an associate with Edwards and Zuck, P.C. in 2010 and was promoted to an associate principal in 2011. He retired from the company as a principal in 2019.
To prepare for his professional journey, Mr. Anthes earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University in 2002. Following this achievement, he attained a Master of Business Administration from the same institution in 2008. Well-qualified in his field, he is a licensed professional engineer in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. Additionally, he is a valued member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and the American Council of Energy Consulting.
Within the coming years, Mr. Anthes intends to continue growing the firm and expanding his business, adding more employees to his skilled team as well. He also looks forward to working on high-profile impact projects that help improve New York City and the country.
