Lakeshore Learning was founded in 1954 by Ethelyn Kaplan, a single mother who aspired to own a toy store. Prior to joining his flourishing organization, Mr. Lozano spent over a decade with another educational company, beginning as a staff member and subsequently as a retail coordinator and sales manager.
Passionate about the industry, Mr. Lozano is proud to contribute to education in a way that has never been presented or viewed before. His longstanding interest in this sector has allowed him to contribute to and support local communities, educators, and students in their effort to succeed.
A graduate of the University of Houston at Clear Lake, Mr. Lozano earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1987. Active in the industry, he remains a board member of the Texas Association of Administrators and Supervisors of Programs for Young Children.
Mr. Lozano has been recognized for his accomplishments with numerous Sales Team and Salesman of the Year awards. He also received accolades for his contributions to his community with honors from the National Head Start Association, the Texas Association of Administrators and Supervisors of Programs for Young Children, and the Texans Care for Children.
Crediting his upbringing to much of his success, Mr. Lozano's parents were hardworking individuals who raised 12 children and set great examples for them. He is also grateful to his high school principal for helping him understand that walls do not exist and that it is essential to give your best regardless of circumstances and obstacles that may it seem impossible.
