Offering an extensive menu comprising traditional American dishes, every plate is made with the finest ingredients. Nappi's Nook also sells a variety of adult beverages, including beer, wine, mixed drinks, and specialty cocktails. The eatery is open for business six days a week from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm and is closed on Mondays.
Putting a smile on his patrons' faces and making people feel welcomed is Mr. Nappi's main priority. On weekends, he can often be found at the front of the restaurant, ensuring everyone is happy and enjoying the laid-back atmosphere.
After hearing of the opportunity, Mr. Nappi secured the restaurant's location with his father and brother. After learning of the previous owner's plan to shut their doors, his brother, Steve, a leader in the industry for 30 years, was instrumental in creating the restaurant and their unique menu. Had it not been for Steve, Nappi's Nook would not be the success it is today. As such, the brothers want to make this hometown eatery a place for others to truly enjoy.
Aside from managing his restaurant, Jason started his career at Progressive Plan Administrators, Inc., an Employee Benefits Broker, which was founded in 1979. In 1995, Progressive Plan Administrators was acquired by USI to be their first Employee Benefits hub. Since then, USI has grown to become one of the largest brokerages in the United States, with offices throughout the country, with over 10,000 associates and $2.5 billion in revenue.
Mr. Nappi is a Senior Vice President and is responsible for New Business and Account Retention of Employer Sponsored Group Benefit Programs within USI and My Benefit Advisor, which specializes in the small to mid-market accounts. He prides himself on his responsiveness to clients and his creativity in solving complex issues and concerns. Jason is one of USI's top national sales leaders and a 25-time PEAK qualifier.
Mr. Nappi is affiliated with UNICO National, a service organization comprised of Italian Americans who participate in charity work for children. The nonprofit also provides money for scholarships and research. Mr. Nappi also served as the North Shore chapter's founding president and scholarship chairperson starting in 2010.
Mr. Nappi graduated from the State University of New York at Potsdam in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in economics. He is married to his wife Jeanne and has two children and two stepchildren.
