The song is a reminder that we are all in this together.

"The song 'Try that in a Small Town' is a powerful reminder that we are all in this together, regardless of our race or background. ..." says Neil Mammen.

BOISE, ID, July 28, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A major African American organization, Every Black Life Matters (EBLM) today applauded country music star Jason Aldean's new song " Try that in a Small Town." EBLM does recommend that Aldean remove the single unfortunate expletive in the song so they can encourage everyone to listen to the song and to share it with their friends and family. Let's show the world that we are united, and that we will not be divided. And that we will protect our neighbors and local businesses."

EBLM President and founder Kevin McGary said, "The song, which celebrates the values of the rule of law, family, security, free markets, and the rights of small businesses to be safe from vandalism, is a powerful reminder that we are all in this together, regardless of our race or background."

"Barring the expletive, we are proud to support Jason Aldean's song 'Try that in a Small Town,'" said Neil Mammen Executive Vice President of EBLM. "The song's message of community and togetherness is a powerful reminder that we are all in this together. A reminder that people from Africa like me can come here and can work together and live in small towns and work towards mutual prosperity and be safe. In this nation we have greater opportunities despite our skin color, our caste, or our religion, unlike in our native countries. And this is no better personified than in a small town."

Kevin McGary added, "Those who call the song racist are the real racists. They are the ones who want to divide us and make us feel like victims. But we will not be divided. We will not be made to feel like victims. We will stand together and celebrate the America that we all love. The America that everyone wants to move to."

"The song's lyrics paint a picture of a modern-day small town where everyone knows their neighbors, people look out for each other, and there is a sense of community. This is the America that we all want to live in, a place where everyone feels safe and secure. This is indeed the real America.

The large cities where we've seen the atrocities in the video have only their own mayors to blame. That's not the real America. That's not the America that attracted me as an immigrant," said Neil Mammen.

"The song 'Try that in a Small Town' is a powerful reminder that we are all in this together, regardless of our race or background. I experience it personally every day in my own town, where my neighbors watch our home, mow our yard when I am sick or we are out of town and are always around to help. It is a song about the values that we all hold dear."
