    MONTGOMERY CENTER, VT, July 28, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jacqueline B. Bilodeau, MSW, LICSW has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Bilodeau is a counselor and psychotherapist who has dedicated more than three decades of her career to working with patients of all ages. She graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology, and returned to school at the University of Vermont in the mid-2000s. While working toward her Master's degree, Ms. Bilodeau pursued internships and student clinician roles at Northwestern Counseling and Support Services and Bellows Free Academy, where she developed her skills as a school-based provider. She was awarded her Master of Social Work in 2008.

Ms. Bilodeau began her career in the public sector as an adolescent counselor for the Morris County Youth Shelter and continued to work at the community level through the 1990s as a mental health counselor for Northwest Covenant psychiatric emergency services and community mental health center. She became an assistant clinician for the Howard Center in 1996, and between 1998 and 2000 served as a living unit supervisor for the Vermont Department of Corrections where she provided trainings around Vermont for Supportive Supervision and Cognitive Reflective Communications. She then co-authored a training manual for the National Institute of Corrections on Cognitive Reflective Communications and provided out-of-state trainings on this material. In 2000, she joined the State of Vermont Department for Children and Families, where she would remain for the next twelve years as a social worker. During this time, her work focused on childhood development, investigations and assessments, in addition to providing training for other incoming clinicians and interns.

After departing the Department for Children and Families, Ms. Bilodeau brought her expertise to Northeast Kingdom Human Services Inc. as a school-based clinician and therapist, and rose to become the company's program director for school-based services after two years of practice. During her time with this agency, she was a member of the Community Response Team, which responded to provide support when community crises occurred. In her role with the agency, she provided trainings of various topics as well. In 2018, she stepped down from her role to join Orleans Central Supervisory Union as a contracted service provider for Irasburg Village School as a school therapist. Since 2018, Ms. Bilodeau has also maintained a private practice specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy for clients of all ages. In the coming years, she hopes to become a meditation trainer and Reiki practitioner in order to provide her clients with a broader range of therapeutic modalities and emotional regulation strategies.

Ms. Bilodeau credits her success to her tenacity and her strong belief that all challenges can be overcome with hard work and compassion. In her personal time, she is active in community service, especially initiatives benefiting animals and animal rights organizations, and enjoys spending time outdoors camping, hiking, and meditating.
