ASHLAND, OH, August 02, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Steve Paramore has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Rising through the ranks from an elementary physical education teacher to a superintendent, Mr. Paramore has been affiliated with the Ashland City Schools in Ohio since he graduated from college in 2003. Having previously served as the interim superintendent from 2020 to 2023, he was named to his new position in April 2023.
Born and raised locally, Mr. Paramore graduated from the same school district. During that time, he became recognized as a leading high school golf player, garnering several awards and recognitions. After spending 10 years in the classroom and coaching high school boys and girls golf, he was promoted to assistant principal in 2014. Mr. Paramore was subsequently promoted again to assistant superintendent in 2020.

He enjoys building substantial relationships with his employees and community members and plans to hire additional teachers and support staff to help lead the district into the future.
Civically involved, Mr. Paramore enjoys giving back to his community as a board member of The Salvation Army Kroc Center and his local United Way. He is also a member of the Young Men's Business Club in Ashland.
A graduate of Florida Southern College, Mr. Paramore earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. He also received a Master of Education in curriculum, instruction, and educational administration from Ashland University. To remain aware of new developments in his field, Mr. Paramore is a prominent member of the Buckeye Association of School Administrators.
Noting his success in sports, Mr. Paramore has been included in the Ashland County Sports Hall of Fame, the Florida Southern College Sports Hall of Fame, the Sunshine State Conference Hall of Fame, and the Ohio Public Golfers Association Hall of Fame. He also won the Ohio High School State Golf Championship at the Ohio State University Scarlet Golf Course in 1997. The following year, Mr. Paramore was named the team captain and was instrumental in leading his team to the state championships.
Mr. Paramore is grateful to his mother, father and grandparents for raising him and providing him with ongoing support and guidance while coming of age. He credits his success to his strong work ethic and cultivating great relationships. Mr. Paramore also notes several of his former teachers and coaches for influencing him.
