The Doug Basham Radio Show

    LAS VEGAS, NV, August 06, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Doug Basham is a former singer/keyboardist - and then comedy magician - who won the "Variety Entertainer of the Year" award in the "Excellence in the Arts" awards. He then turned to politics and for the past several years has been the only Liberal talk radio host here in Las Vegas. He has also always been one of the highest Arbitron/Nielsen rated talk show hosts in Vegas.

After a hiatus, Basham will be returning to the radio airwaves on Monday August 7th on KSHP AM 1400 and 107.1 FM, Monday through Friday from 11 am – 12 noon (PST). He'll also be broadcasting live on all major social media sites (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch). His show is both hard hitting and entertaining.

Sadly, political talk radio has become the exclusive domain of the right. There are three stations here in Las Vegas that carry political talk - and all three of them are not just right wing, but extreme right wing.

On a daily and hourly basis, they poison the radio airwaves with hateful, dishonest - and frankly, dangerous rhetoric, ie: "Liberals are baby killers who hate God, America and freedom," and of course, "Liberals are coming for your guns and your children!"

They also classify every problem/challenge this country faces as somehow being President Joe Biden's fault. None of this is true, of course, but sadly - and predictably - a lie repeated often enough becomes the dangerous truth for many. January 6 more than proved that.

Doug Basham has always been the counter voice that fights right wing vitriol, and starting on Monday August 7th, he will be again. He is bold, outspoken, passionate and unafraid. We are asking you to tune in and help Basham grow his audience. It is also a call in show, and you're invited to call in and express your opinions.
