Prior to joining Margaret Rudd, Ms. Ellender worked as the agency director for Coastal Companion Care.
During the first four and a half decades of her career, Ms. Ellender gained valuable expertise in critical care nursing and clinical research. Alongside her work, she contributes to her community through various food drives and beach cleanups, and as a member of the church council at Ocean View Methodist Church. In order to remain abreast of changes in the fields of nursing and real estate, Ms. Ellender aligns herself with the North Carolina Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association, and the Brunswick County Association of Realtors.
An expert in her field, Ms. Ellender holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. Over the years, she expanded upon her knowledge of real estate by becoming a broker, a broker in charge, and real estate negotiation expert. Likewise, she completed the Commitment to Excellence and the At Home with Diversity programs. In recognition of her outstanding body of work, Ms. Ellender received a Rising Star Award through Margaret Rudd and Associates and was named to the Top 300 Producers through Brunswick County Real Producers. Additionally, in September 2022, she received a spotlight in Featured Agent Magazine.
Though her career has been filled with standout moments, Ms. Ellender takes the most pride in raising three sons, all of whom started their own successful careers. While hard work and dedication have brought her far, she credits her success to her caring nature, her ability to listen and communicate clearly with others, and the integrity with which she conducts her affairs.
